Active Workstation Directory Structures

Active Workstation uses two primary top level directories for housing content and application software. The first is the AWS root working directory and is used to store store data, communications software, databases and related files in the following hierarchy. The graphic below shows a multiple store configuration used by AWS HQ. Each store contains the same sub-directories. AWS QSR, the in-store version also uses the same directory organization, only with a single store data directory.

The following shows the operational directory structure for Active Workstation HQ.  The only difference between HQ and QSR is that the QSR version would contain only a single store under the storedata directory.
